RPG Maker VX News

Screenshot Gallery Added!
Posted October 19th, 2007 at 5:14am CDT by DurandalI've added a screenshot gallery to the site! It uses webgallery software called TinyWebGallery and I will begin to standardize the src URLs of screenshot images all over the site to this format over the next couple of days, starting with the screenshots in the feed itself.
Music Discussion
Posted October 17th, 2007 at 10:30pm CDT by DurandalEnterbrain has announced the newest piece of information about RPG Maker VX. As spoken by Toshie:
I've been going on about illustrations and game screens for a while now, but right about now I'm gonna throw down some new material!
Just like graphics, a game would be nothing without music. Mr. Hinata Kitagami, Sound Creator, is heading up the BGM arrangement for RPG Maker VX.
I can tell just hearing the name, this man is a Maker Connoisseur.
That's right! By Kitagami, I mean the creator and man in charge of the BGMs for both RPG Maker Dante 98 and RPG Maker 2000, the legend of the Maker World! In the typical Toshie-style, I christen it Kitagami Sound (arbitrarily), and offer up a cup of water everyday! ... sorry, I lied a little there.
This time on Maker, we've got a nice little present for you. I want you to listen to the BGM and grin broadly when you think "Oh! This phrase is...!" By all means.

With this kit everybody can freely place the Maker logo or images on their blog or webpage!
However, please don't forget to read the Terms of Usage!
Package Illustration Discussion
Posted October 15th, 2007 at 8:00pm CDT by DurandalEnterbrain has announced the newest piece of information about RPG Maker VX. As spoken by Toshie:
I've been summoned by Director M in order to release a new product I've been working on for several days.
As the order was "This is material only available here!", first I'm going to introduce the Maker's Face Illustration Package.
The illustrator who has been working on RPG Maker VX's package illustrations is Yuki Hayabusa.
Personally, I have this feeling that the Elf girl is going to be really popular, but I wonder just how much?
Incidentally, Arts Kawashima was muttering something like "There aren't any cat-girls...?"
This "obliqueness" composed illustration is a historical first for the Maker. (!?) If you think about it that way, doesn't it make it seem even more fresh and exciting?
Starting here I'm going to give some information about a somewhat 0 Track Back. For the sake of security in tracking back to Tskuuru Blog, a confirmation check will be implemented. Because of this, it will take several days to recieve a response after we get a request.
Though we have a number of validated track backs at the present point in time, the truth is that the system has gone a bit awry, something everybody can't see. We truly apologize for this!
Also, as there's a possibility for an error to come up when the track back is sent, we're currently looking into the situation (even if it does come back as an error, it has practically been accepted).
What's happening, Director M!?
This may prove a disconvenience, but we will be suspending track back applications until the system is restored. We ask that you please wait a while.
Reference Sites, etc.
Posted October 12th, 2007 at 11:00pm CDT by DurandalEnterbrain has announced the newest piece of information about RPG Maker VX. As spoken by Arts Kawashima:
It's been a hectic week...
Now that I think about it, I just noticed that VX has had references pages uploaded in various places. I happen to remember creating some public-use material and handing it over to the Publicity Manager without much concern. We were incredibly busy with work at the time...
The company has also instructed us to list these reference pages. We ask your understanding if we leave any out. (The following are honorable mentions)
Famitsu.com
GAME Watch
ASCII
4gamer.net
Happy woman
There's no quips about the information on "Tskuuru Web" being kind of small. Incidentally, we plan to update "Tsukuuru Web" once a week. We'll be doing our best there.
By the way, since everyone's been cramming their blogs with free-use pictures and such, we figured "wouldn't it be better if we had something like a fan kit?" We're going to think on that a little. Well, Director M would probably say "if you can release one, then release it". Speaking of which, I haven't seen him around today. No wonder we've been making progress... I had the feeling somebody was watching me, so he must be around here today.
